The ALA sensitive data service, the SDS, (How does the ALA Handle Sensitive Data) will process any sensitive records according to the rules set by the state and territory governments. If you have records you belive are sensitive that will not be processed by the SDS you can generalise them prior to submitting them by reducing the accuracy of location information (coordinates and locality description) and or the precision of hte taxonomic information (providing species instead of sub species or genus instead of species). If the records are generalised prior to submission it is important to indicate this in the records using the dataGeneralisations field so that users of the data know that more accurate information is available if needed.
