Once you’ve created a survey, you can set up alerts to notify you when particular species are recorded in the survey. If your survey does not contain species records then this option is not applicable. To configure species alerts:

  1. Click on the “Admin” button at the top.
  2. Click on “Survey settings” on the left.
  3. Click the “Alert” tab.

First, add species to be notified about. Start typing in a species name, and then select the scientific name of the species from the drop-down list. You can add as many species as you’d like.

Second, add the email addresses of people you’d like to be notified when the species recorded. You can add as many email addresses as you’d like.
