Once you have started collecting data with BioCollect, you can choose to share your data with the ALA. To turn on data sharing, email [email protected].
Once data sharing is turned on for your project, all occurrence records in your project will be sent to the ALA. If your data is embargoed, it will not appear in the ALA.
The licence you select in your survey configuration will be attached to all data from the survey. Your data will appear in the ALA under that licence for researchers, governments and the general public to use to learn more about Australia’s biodiversity.
To see how your records appear in the ALA, you can click the ‘View records in occurrence explorer’ button at the top of the data view page. You can also click to view the records in the ALA’s spatial portal.
